Re-upholstery
Recovering existing pieces of furniture is a brilliant idea, especially if they were well made in the first place. It is environmentally thoughtful but also a lovely opportunity to breathe new life into something with sentimental value.
Layered Home has professional connections with most local upholsterers. I have an arrangement whereby you can engage the upholsterer’s services but order your fabric from my library and I manage everything on your behalf.

I have a growing collection of high- performance stain resistant fabrics (which are a godsend when children and pets are present) and also recycled fabrics ranges, which are now are as soft and luxurious as standard fabrics.
